When you send a request through a form on this site, we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, city, ZIP code, property type, the service or project you need, your project details, budget range and timeline, and how you prefer to be contacted.

We also record which page or business listing the request came from, which tells us how you reached us and which businesses cover your area.

Like most websites, our servers log basic technical details when you visit: the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to keep the directory working, understand which listings people find useful, and detect automated spam submissions.

We use request details to match you with local businesses that serve your city and the service you asked about, and to follow up if a request is incomplete or needs clarification. We use aggregate, non-identifying numbers to improve the directory and to show which areas and categories we still need listings for.

Your request is shared only with the businesses connected to that request: the single listing whose form you completed, or the specific businesses you selected when you asked to be matched. Those businesses are shown to you before you submit, so you know who may contact you.

Once a business receives your request, it handles your details under its own privacy policy and contacts you directly by the method you chose. We ask partner businesses to use request details only to respond to your inquiry, but we cannot control how a third party treats information it receives.

Request data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Only the ATX Home Base team can view submitted requests, using accounts protected by sign-in credentials, and access is limited to responding to requests and maintaining records.

Submission forms include automated spam controls, and we remove or block requests that appear to be automated or abusive. No system is completely secure, but we keep the information we hold to the minimum needed to route your request.

Requests are kept while they are useful for routing, for answering follow-up questions and for keeping an accurate record of introductions we made. When a request is no longer needed, we delete it. You can ask us to delete a request at any time.

Details published in business listings, such as company name, address, phone number, website, license numbers and service areas, come from public sources and from the businesses themselves. That information is business contact data, not consumer lead data, and it is published so homeowners can research and contact companies directly. A business can request a correction or removal through our contact page.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about your request, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request from the same email address you used in the form so we can verify it, and we will act on it.

If a business contacts you after your request, you can ask that business directly to stop contacting you.

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep the site working, such as remembering form progress and keeping an administrative session signed in. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of visitors.

This directory is intended for adults arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If how we handle request information changes, we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Material changes affecting requests already submitted will be communicated to the email address on those requests where practical.
